Review of Touch Only alcohol-based markers

Guys, the price of alcohol-based markers is insane !!!!
I have thought to go for a small set, but apparently, it doesn't make much sense to buy alcohol-based markers if you don't have at least 2 or 3 tones of each color... 😠
I'm not a professional card maker, so I decided to look for cheap alternatives to known brands like Copic, Prisma Color, Spectrum Noir etc.
Here is my bargain: 80 Touch Only markers (not to be confused with the Touch Twin) - Animation set  + a white gel pen + the bag they come in with + shipping fees = less than 33 Euros!!!
They are comfortable to hold, with a fine point and a broad one. A gray ring helps you locate the fine tip side when the caps are on. 
On the other hand, some of the codes/names on the caps were partially erased and the color tone of the cap doesn't always perfectly match the color of the marker.

To overcome this, I made a table on a printing paper sheet with all the colors and the corresponding codes and names: MUCH EASIER to spot the colors in the bag!

Color #9 - Pale Pink - had weird black spots on both nibs and was dry (bye bye number 9 🤣 )

Pros: cheap, nice color palette, cheap, comfortable to hold, did I say cheap? haha haha 😄. They're perfect for a beginner like me :-)
Cons: not refillable, blender marker and spare nibs not available.

And here you have my very first try with alcohol markers 🙋

One more way to combine soy wax and gel!

The followings are all two-layered candles with the bottom layer made of gel and the upper part made of soy wax . Why combining the two of them? Because gel is transparent and allows you to embed objects   and soy wax   has an incredible  scent   throw and a long burning time ! Few simple rules for embedding objects: ideally they should be non flammable (like glass animals, shells or stones)! ...but if you do not exaggerate with the amount, you also can potentially use cinnamon sticks, dried flowers etc... To be on the safe side: if you use flammable objects I'd anyway suggest you to pour the thinnest layer of gel as possible (just to cover the embeds) and avoid burning this layer. And remember: never ever leave lit candles unattended! Let yourself be inspired and give it a try! Gel embeddings: glitters (blue candle) or sea shells (peach candle).
